'The Four Heavenly Kings' aka 'Recollection Vol.II' supported by The Netherlands Film Fund and The Foundation Thuiskopie, has been a long term experimental project, which has become a full-length feature film in progress during development. Associated with the film, C.Opera is an image I had in my mind, that I wanted to capture on paper. It is a pre-conception of an element of the film: The Chinese opera, a popular form of drama in China, dates back to the Tang dynasty, where opera troupes mostly performed for the emperors personal pleasure. All material I create associated with the film, would be a good support to the project for further development.
